Making panel comments |
Panel comments are comments are targeted feedback to specific questions within the application. Panel comments are made by clicking on the '+ sign' 'new comment' tile in the action pane. This will then allow you to select the specific question you are wanting to comment or request a change to. You will have 2 subsequent options. First is to request action by indicating your feedback as a 'change request'. This will require the applicant to make a change to that particular question. It is highly recommended that you then also make the comment visible to application. That is the second subsequent action you can take. |
Making form comments |
Form comments are comments that are made to provide more generalised concerns. These are never visible to the applicant. However, professionalism should dictate the comments made in this space. |
Make my comments visible to the applicant |
The default setting is for comments to not be visible to an applicant. You must select the greyed out 'Hidden to applicant' box to make it green and say 'To be made visible to the applicant'. This will now be visible to the applicant once they recieve the application back. |
Make a change request to the applicant |
When adding a panel comment, the option is available to make it function as a 'Change Request'. This means that the applicant must change their response in order to move forward. If this feature is not activated the applicant will simply see your text as a comment. |
Top row of navigation icons |
The top row is predominately to move you forward and backward through an application, with the larger arrow "Navigation" to take you back to the application overview screen. |
Timeline icon |
The timeline icon (looks like a table or a calendar) will take you back to the project home screeen where you can perform the appropriate actions of either returning the application to the applicant to respond to feedback or forward it on to the next step in the review process. |
Documents |
The large paperclip in the action panel will allow you to quickly see any documents that have been uploaded with the application. |
Printing |
You can still print an application for a paper based review. Please note that this will print more pages than the previous Word based application as it will be printing webpages not documents. You can also include panel and form comments as well as any tabular summaries when you print. |
